Parking
An underground parking garage is available onsite. Metered parking is available on all streets surrounding the courthouse.

Safety Measures
To provide a safe environment for all citizens, you will be required to go through a screening process similar to an airport. The Travis County Sheriff's Office is in charge of security at the court facility and you should be prepared to encounter X-ray machines and metal detectors. Jurors

Jury Summons
If you have received a summons from the Travis County Jury Office, use the I-Jury system to register as a juror (see link for more information). Visit the Jury Duty page.

 

Court Assignment
Follow the instructions on your court assignment notification and report to the Civil and Family Court Facility as directed. (see link for more information) . Visit the District Clerk’s page.

Civil Courts Overview
Our civil courts work to provide fair, effective and efficient resolutions to civil and family disputes in Travis County. The Travis County Civil Court system is comprised of twelve District Courts, four Associate Courts, two County Courts at Law, and two Title IV-D Child Support Courts. The Civil Court’s Page.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $10.39.
