Travis County’s Non-Essential Services and Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Closed Thursday & Friday, February 3-4

(Travis County, TX) – Due to forecasted winter weather conditions, Travis County Judge Andy Brown announced Travis County offices and facilities will be closed for non-essential services on Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February 4, 2022. Essential county staff will continue to report for duty. Any county staff with questions regarding their department should contact their immediate supervisor.

Additionally, Travis County’s mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be closed Thursday, February 3 and Friday, February, 4, 2022.

TAX RATE: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.5 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $10.39.
