Public comment for this virtual open house is from April 13 to April 24.

Welcome to the Virtual Open House for the Deer Creek I and Deer Creek II Substandard Road Projects. The purpose of this virtual open house is to share information about the proposed roadway improvements in the Deer Creek neighborhood and to provide residents within the project area with an opportunity to review the project and provide feedback.

Project Overview

These projects are part of a countywide initiative to improve substandard roadways. The project area includes several residential roads that are currently designated as substandard and are not maintained by the county.

The proposed improvements include reconstruction of the existing roadways and drainage enhancements within the project limits. Upon completion, the roadways are expected to be safer, provide better accessibility for residents, and meet applicable standards to be accepted by the County for maintenance.

Glenview Circle, Lake Park Drive, Creekwood Circle, Ridgeview Circle, Westlake Drive, Parkwood Drive

Project Limits- Deer Creek II

Deer Creek Skyview between Stratus Drive and Janet Loop (east), Janet Loop between Little Creek Circle and Deer Creek Skyview, Little Creek Circle between Janet Loop and Hilltop Drive, Hilltop Drive from Little Creek Circle to beginning of Ribbon Curb on Hilltop Drive, and Village Drive between Longhorn Skyway and Sandy Beach Road.

Project Status

The Design Team has submitted a developed engineering design, along with estimated construction costs and a proposed timeline, to the County. Final design efforts will begin following completion of the community engagement process.

Comments and suggestions are welcomed. To be included in the public comment summary report, comments must be submitted by April 24, 2026.
