- You may file an answer (written response) with the Travis County District Clerk and/or Justice of Peace within 20 days after you receive this citation with a copy to the County Attorney’s Office. Include the cause number on your answer. Send your answer to (as appropriate):

- Send your Original Petition to:
- Once Petition is filed contact the Travis County Attorney’s Office – Collections Division, (512) 854-9513, for a hearing date. These hearings are normally held on alternating Fridays at 2:00 p.m.
- Send Notice of Hearing to all parties via certified mail at least 20 days prior to the court date.
- Attend court.
